Science is Everywhere.............

I felt very guilty discussing travel and food and leaving science to the last. Just to clarify....the order of mention is not my order of preference. Just like exploring places and food, exploring science behind everything is also my passion. Science starts even before we start to think about the science behind thinking. The brain is the most fascinating piece of mysterious science object that sparks my curiosity as soon as it is done sparking the associated neurons with that curiosity process. I am looking for the day when we understand  the brain enough to copy information from one brain to another just as we do it with computer hard drive with a "memory stick", I guess we need not change the name of the device in the future if invented, as the current name suits it pretty well. There will
be no need to learn anything, everything can be loaded to our brains just like in the movie "The Matrix". How would it be if everyone has a built in wifi and an operating system to run programs and transfer data. People will be grouped into different  OS like mac, linux, windows and age accordingly like xp grand dad, vista son and windows 7 grand son. I guess it will make an interesting sci-fi movie or a novel.

Holy Cows and Pigs !!!!!!!!

I think that there is a reason why cows and pigs were considered holy and forbidden by some religions. This is definitely a conspiracy similar to that of the forbidden fruit that man was ordered not to taste. Because once he tastes it , things will never be the same as before. The best and the most appropriate word to describe the taste of these edible evil masterpiece  is "ORGASMIC" * (*- if it is done right) and nobody on earth can resist it. These are the only meats that are marinated during their entire life and are ready to serve as steaks and BBQs, seasoned with fire.  And to describe the taste of  BACON I quote, "are you f**king kidding me.........", the discoverer undoubtedly deserves a MacArthur genius award. So Please put off your death if you can till you taste them, otherwise life is not worth it......

Beautiful 62901

Lets cut to the chase here, before going "around the world in mighty words" my own Carbondale needs a little attention. Though its a small town it has lots of points of interest, scenic lakes, Crab orchard, Kinkad and Little grassy, just to mention a few. For those who are running water fetish Spillway is the way to go.  Overnight camping at these places is not to be missed. Sitting by the  lakeside evening breeze, sleeping under the starlit sky and waking up by the dew covered grassy lake shore with a view of rising sun thorough the trees with a misty lake in the foreground with fresh crispy air all around is nothing but DIVINE.  For trekking lovers there is Garden of gods,  and Giant city state park, once we tried climbing the garden of gods free style from the bottom, try it, you will sweat in gallons, its the mother of all workouts. The best time to visit these places is the beginning of the fall, when the weather is just right, you will see shades of colors from green-yellow-red to purple, if you are too late you will see brown. This is just a part of the beauty around 62901. Of course a picture is equivalent to a thousand words....

Comparison of USA and India

India: Dusty old environment and fresh foods
USA: Fresh environment and old preserved food.
India: Roads you die in
USA: Roads you die for (planned exits and multiple lanes; my top admiration)
India: Dont know strangers and smiling neighbors
USA: Smiling strangers and dont know neighbors
